Facilities

Rita is the principal fridge for the CAL-Pathfinder axion experiment and is equipped with a 9 T superconducting solenoid magnet. In addition, it is instrumented with RF cabling for qubit sensor development.

Rufus is the main qubit sensor fridge. The fridge is equipped with RF cabling and photon calibration systems for optical and THz photons.

Remy is a custom 4 K cryostat belonging to the van Bibber group that is used for auxillary cryogenic testing.

The Molecular Foundry is where we create quantum devices! The foundry's nanofabrication facility has a wide suite of superconducting fabrication capabilities, highlighted by an Angstrom Cluster Deposition tool.
